Scott Hansen

Scott Lee Hansen is a very experienced teacher with over 17 years in teaching - most of this time in Jičín. He's an expert in Cambridge exams and has successfully prepared many students for KET, PET, FCE and CAE exams.

Originally, he comes from England and has a very clear accent. He uses a cognitive approach to learning, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning. He has worked in many diverse teaching environments and roles including:

●  English lecturer
●   Exam tutor
●  Summer school teacher in multicultural centres
●  Head teacher for local language school
●  Evening classes
●  Individual conversation classes
●  Business and business counselling roles
●  Video maker, trainer

In his time away from the classroom he makes videos and is a Prague based stand-up comic. He has just completed his first novel.
